Small coffee farms are making a comeback in El Salvador.  For years coffee trade was ruled by wealthy coffee farms forcing smaller farms to abandon their crops.  This gave El Salvador a reputation for producing low grade "commercial" blending coffees.  now, with many of these farms reestablished, a better bean can be found.  The best beans are grown at high altitudes keeping in the sweet flavor until you are ready to brew and enjoy.
